ODOJECT employs a two-pronged approach for detoxification. First, the concentrated Yucca extract contains saponins that bind directly to toxic, dissolved ammonia (NH3) in the water column and inhibit urease activity, reducing NH3
generation. Second, the included blend of probiotics and natural growth stimulants accelerates the proliferation of native beneficial bacteria. These activated microbes utilize both NH3 (via nitrification) and H2S (via oxidation) as substrates for metabolism, leading to the rapid biological removal of these toxic gases from the pond water and sludge.
