Prevention and treatment of Avian Mycoplasmosis (M. gallisepticum and M. synoviae).
Effective control of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) complex.
Management of secondary bacterial infections susceptible to Chlortetracycline.
Reduces morbidity and mortality in outbreaks of respiratory distress.
Improves recovery rates and minimizes production losses.
GALVOTYL combines two antibiotics. Tylvalosin, a macrolide, inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by reversibly binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit. This specifically targets cell wall-deficient organisms like Mycoplasma. Chlortetracycline, a tetracycline, also inhibits protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, preventing the attachment of aminoacyl-tRNA. The synergistic action provides broad coverage, treating both the primary Mycoplasma infection and associated bacterial complications, preventing resistance.
Synergistic action delivers high potency against target pathogens.
Excellent solubility ensures uniform delivery via drinking water.
Tylvalosin shows superior action against resistant Mycoplasma strains.
Rapid attainment of therapeutic plasma and tissue concentrations.
Cost-effective control of complex respiratory infections.
