Treatment of respiratory diseases caused by Mycoplasma (e.g., CCPP, CRD).
Management of pneumonia and other respiratory tract infections.
Effective against infections causing mastitis and metritis.
Control of foot rot and other local soft tissue infections.
Treatment of infections sensitive to Tylosin, such as bacterial enteritis.
Tylosin is a bacteriostatic antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. It binds reversibly to the 50S ribosomal subunit within susceptible bacterial cells. This binding specifically prevents the process of translocation, where the peptidyl tRNA moves from the A-site to the P-site of the ribosome. By inhibiting this movement, Tylosin prevents the addition of new amino acids to the peptide chain, effectively halting the assembly of essential proteins required for bacterial growth and replication. This mechanism makes it particularly effective against Mycoplasma species.
High efficacy against difficult-to-treat Mycoplasma infections.
Concentrated 20% formula for reduced injection volume.
Broad spectrum against Gram-positive and some Gram-negative organisms.
Good bioavailability post-injection for systemic action.
Rapid reduction in clinical signs of common livestock diseases.
Cattle/Buffaloes: 0.5-1.0 ml per 20 kg body weight. I.M.
Swine: 0.5 ml per 20 kg body weight. I.M.
Treatment is typically administered once daily for 3-5 days. Consult a veterinarian.
