Toltrazuril is a triazinone derivative that targets all intracellular developmental stages of the Eimeria parasite, including schizonts and gamonts. It causes characteristic vacuolation in the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi complex of the parasite cell. By interfering with mitochondrial respiration and essential nuclear division, it disrupts pyrimidine synthesis and damages cellular structure, leading to the rapid elimination and death of the parasite within the host cells.

For oral administration
General Guideline (Poultry, Swine):
The recommended therapeutic dose is 7 mg of Toltrazuril per kg of body weight for 2 consecutive days.
Inclusion Rate for Drinking Water (Poultry):
1 ml of COXTOL 5% Oral Liquid per 1 Litre of drinking water, administered continuously over a period of 48 hours (2 days).
Note: Ensure the medicated water is the only source of drinking water during the treatment period. Adjust water intake calculations based on ambient temperature and bird age.
