Composition

Tolfenamic acid 6%,
Methyl salicylate 10%
Menthol 5%
Cinnamon oil 0.4%,
Linseed oil 3%

Indications

Relief of acute musculoskeletal pain and localized inflammation.
Treatment of sprains, strains, and tendonitis in limbs.
Reduction of swelling and pain associated with joint stiffness.
Used to manage pain and lameness due to non-infectious causes.
Management of localized inflammation post-trauma or over-exertion.

Mechanism of Action

The primary therapeutic action is mediated by Tolfenamic Acid, which non-selectively inhibits the enzyme Cyclooxygenase (COX). This inhibition blocks the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are key mediators of pain, inflammation, and fever in the body. The secondary action comes from the counter-irritants (Methyl Salicylate and Menthol). They stimulate the sensory nerve endings on the skin, causing a superficial heat/cold sensation that overrides the deeper pain signals, providing immediate, localized relief.

Benefits

Dual action provides rapid counter-irritant relief and sustained activity.
Tolfenamic Acid is a proven, effective anti-inflammatory agent.
Aerosol format allows non-contact application, easy coverage, and rapid cooling.
Quickly reduces pain and facilitates earlier mobility and recovery.
Avoids systemic side effects associated with injectable or oral treatments.
