Indications

Control and prevention of Avian Intestinal Spirochetosis.
Management of caused by Mycoplasma in turkeys.
Effective against and other pathogens.
Use in flocks requiring high concentration treatment volumes.

Mechanism of Action

Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumarate is a pleuromutilin antibiotic that acts primarily as a bacteriostatic agent against susceptible bacteria, especially Mycoplasma and certain Gram-positive species. Its function involves specifically binding to the ribosomal subunit within the bacterial cell. By targeting this subunit, Tiamulin prevents the initiation of peptide chain formation and inhibits protein synthesis, thereby effectively halting bacterial growth and multiplication, leading to rapid control of respiratory and enteric infections in poultry.

Usage & Recommendation

Through Feed:
Prevention: 19-25 mg/Kg B.t for 3-5 days.
Treatment (Severe): 38-50 mg/Kg B.t for 3-5 days.
Consult with a veterinarian for precise application rates based on flock needs.

Through Feed:
Prevention:
250 g of Intamulin- 80 /ton of feed for 2 days at an interval of 3-4 weeks
Treatment:
500 g of Intamulin- 80 /ton for 3-5 days depending on the severity of the disease
Mixing: Make a premix with 5-10 kg of feed or blend with vitamins/mineral mixture before adding to the final feed.
