Neutralizing toxic H2S gas buildup in pond bottom and water.
Degrading and liquefying accumulated organic sludge layers.
Reducing ammonia and nitrite levels in high-density systems.
Improving soil redox potential and pond bottom health.
Used during high-stress periods or after feed mismanagement.
MILPOND TERRA introduces high concentrations of Photosynthetic Bacteria (PSB), Rhodococcus and Rhodobacter species, which thrive in anaerobic conditions often found in pond sludge. These are unique in their ability to metabolise and utilise toxic compounds like H2S and various nitrogenous wastes (NH3, NO2 ) as electron donors during anoxygenic photosynthesis. Simultaneously, the PSB break down biodegradable organic matter, reducing sludge volume and eliminating highly toxic compounds from the pond environment.
Eliminates deadly H2S gas, preventing mass mortality events.
Significantly reduces the volume of harmful, anoxic sludge.
Improves overall water quality and Dissolved Oxygen () near the bottom.
Creates a less stressful, healthier environment for aquatic life.
Non-pathogenic, non-toxic, and environmentally responsible solution.
Dosage is specific to pond management.
Pond Preparation: 5-10 L/acre
During Culture Period: 5-10 L/acre, repeat after 15 days
Routine Maintenance: 5-10 L per acre, every 7-10 days.
Crisis/High Sludge: 15-20 L per acre, applied initially and repeated after 3 days.
For better results, do weekly rotation of Milpond Hydro & Terra
Method: Dilute the calculated volume with pond water and broadcast evenly, focusing application over sludge areas and aeration points.
