Treatment of superficial wounds and abrasions susceptible to bacterial infection.
Effective against common skin pathogens sensitive to Oxytetracycline.
Used for treating hoof lesions and foot rot (in combination with other treatment).
Protection of the wound from contamination by flies and larvae (blowfly strike).
Suitable for post-operative management of surgical sites.
The antibacterial action relies on Oxytetracycline, which is a bacteriostatic agent. It works by reversibly binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria. This binding inhibits the transfer of aminoacyl tRNA to the acceptor site (A-site), effectively preventing protein synthesis essential for bacterial growth and replication. Methyl Violet provides immediate antiseptic action by disrupting the bacterial cell wall and acts as a visual marker for treated areas.
Broad-spectrum antibiotic action covers common wound infections.
Methyl Violet provides instant antiseptic action and area marking.
Aerosol format allows for non-contact, hygienic application on lesions.
Fast-drying formula minimizes run-off and maximizes contact time.
Ease of use for quick application in field conditions.
Treatment: Shake the can well. Spray uniformly onto the affected area from 15-20 cm distance for 1-2 seconds.
Ensure the wound is clean before application.
Frequency: Apply once or twice daily until the wound heals, or as advised by a veterinarian.
Cover the entire wound surface thoroughly, avoiding contact with eyes/mucosa.
