High-Concentration Injectable Flukicide
The Ultimate Defense Against Fascioliasis
Flukicide
Livestock
Injection

Composition

Each ml contains:
Nitroxynil. 340 mg
Excipients. q.s.

Indications

Treatment of acute, sub-acute, and chronic Fascioliasis (Liver Fluke).
Control of adult and late immature Liver Fluke (Fasciola hepatica and gigantica).
Effective against certain Gastrointestinal Nematodes (e.g., Haemonchus).
Treatment of Oestrosis (Nasal Bots) in Sheep.
Prophylactic use in Fluke-endemic areas.

Mechanism of Action

Nitroxynil is a halogenated phenolic compound that acts as an uncoupler of oxidative phosphorylation in the parasite's mitochondria. By uncoupling this process, Nitroxynil disrupts the production of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), which is the primary energy source for the parasite. This leads to the rapid energy depletion, metabolic failure, and ultimately, the death of the fluke. The compound is quickly absorbed after subcutaneous injection, providing high systemic concentration necessary to kill both mature and late-immature liver flukes.

Benefits

High efficacy against late immature and mature liver flukes.
Rapid systemic action ensures quick parasite kill.
Easy and reliable administration via subcutaneous injection.
Reduces liver damage and improves organ function.
Restores animal health, increasing productivity and weight gain.
