POLUZAP, composed of natural zeolites (clinoptilolite), features a unique porous, crystalline structure with a high negative surface charge. This allows it to function as a powerful cation exchanger, selectively trapping and binding positively charged toxic ions, particularly Ammonia (NH4), from the water column. The large internal surface area also acts as a physical absorbent for suspended solids, organic molecules, and noxious gases like H2S and CO2, thereby reducing pollution, eliminating bad odors, and indirectly supporting higher dissolved oxygen levels.
