KLENGARD-P works through the controlled release of chlorine:
When dissolved in water, Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC) rapidly releases a measured and stable amount of Free Available Chlorine (FAC), primarily in the form of Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl).
HOCl is a powerful, fast-acting germicide that rapidly penetrates the cell wall of pathogenic microorganisms.
It oxidizes and inactivates essential enzymes and cellular components, effectively killing bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa.
The cyanurate component stabilizes the chlorine, ensuring a longer residual activity compared to traditional hypochlorites.
