Treatment and control of major Gastrointestinal Roundworms (e.g., Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus).
Effective against all stages of Lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus).
Used for immunostimulation in weakened or stressed animals.
Management of certain parasitic infestations in swine and poultry.
Prophylaxis and therapy in cases of heavy nematode infestation.
Levamisole acts primarily as a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonist on the nerve ganglia of susceptible nematodes. By mimicking acetylcholine, it causes continuous stimulation of the parasite's nervous system. This results in the rapid and irreversible spastic paralysis of the worm musculature. The paralyzed worms are unable to maintain their position and are expelled from the gastrointestinal tract by normal peristaltic action. Additionally, Levamisole exhibits an immunostimulatory effect, enhancing the animal's natural defenses post-treatment.
High efficacy against adult and larval stages of most nematodes.
Rapid onset of action due to injectable administration.
Dual benefit of anthelmintic action and immune support.
Significantly improves nutrient absorption and weight gain.
Easy and economical dosing for mass treatment.
Cattle/Buffaloes: 1 ml per 20 kg body weight. Subcutaneous (S.C.) route application.
Sheep/Goats: 0.5 ml per 10 kg body weight. Subcutaneous (S.C.) application.
Follow specific dose recommendations; do not exceed 15 ml per injection site in cattle.
