Each bolus contains:
Homidium Chloride. 250 mg
Excipients. q.s.

Treatment and control of acute and chronic Trypanosomiasis.
Effective against Trypanosoma vivax infections in cattle.
Used for the management of Trypanosoma congolense.
Helps control the clinical signs of "Nagana" in susceptible livestock.
Suitable for prophylactic and curative use in cattle and buffalo.

Homidium Chloride is a phenanthridine-based trypanocidal agent. Its primary action involves intercalating directly into the kinetoplast and nuclear DNA of the Trypanosome parasite. This binding profoundly disrupts the parasitic organism's ability to replicate DNA and synthesize RNA. The resulting inhibition of essential nucleic acid processes halts cell division and rapidly leads to the death and clearance of the parasite from the host system.

Target Species: Cattle, Buffaloes, Sheep, and Goats
Administer orally at a 6.25 mg of Homodium chloride / Kg b.wt dose rate of per body weight.
Upto 40 Kg: 1 Bolus
40-80 Kg: 2 boluses
