Indications

Enhancing milk synthesis and improving the ejection reflex.
Minimizing residual milk remaining in the udder post-milking.
Supporting and restoring lactation after stress, illness, or calving.
Improving overall milk yield in dairy animals.
Management of poor milk letdown due to nervousness or discomfort.

Mechanism of Action

The bolus works by stimulating the neuro-hormonal pathways of lactation. Shatavari directly enhances the pituitary release of prolactin, the key hormone for milk synthesis. Ashwagandha acts as an adaptogen, neutralizing the stress hormone (cortisol) effects which often inhibit oxytocin release, thus improving the milk ejection reflex (letdown). Nardostachys jatamansi helps soothe the nervous system, further promoting effective letdown. This combined action maximizes the synthesis of new milk and ensures the complete expulsion of residual milk from the udder.
