Each g contains:
Gentamicin Sulphate BP. 100 mg
Doxycycline Hyclate BP. 100 mg
Excipients. q.s.

Treatment of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) and air sacculitis.
Control and prevention of severe Colibacillosis and enteritis.
Management of infectious diseases like Fowl Cholera and Salmonellosis.
Therapy for secondary bacterial complications following viral diseases.
Effective against Mycoplasma, E. coli, and Salmonella species.

GEN-DOXY exerts a synergistic antimicrobial effect by targeting bacterial protein synthesis at the 30S ribosomal subunit. Doxycycline, a bacteriostatic tetracycline, reversibly inhibits elongation, effectively treating systemic and atypical pathogens. Gentamicin, a bactericidal aminoglycoside, irreversibly binds to the same subunit, causing misreading of genetic code and rapid cell death. This dual mechanism ensures superior penetration and efficacy against a wide range of sensitive Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, particularly those causing complicated or mixed infections.

Poultry
1 gram of GEN-DOXY per 1 to 2 litres of drinking water.
Duration: Administer continuously for 3 to 5 days, or as per the advice of a veterinary practitioner.
Note: The inclusion rate should be adjusted based on the severity of the infection and water consumption of the flock.
