Fipronil is a broad-spectrum insecticide belonging to the phenylpyrazole chemical family. It acts as a potent non-competitive antagonist of gamma-aminobutyric acid ()-gated chloride channels in insects. By binding to the chloride channel receptor, Fipronil blocks the influx of chloride ions, which normally inhibits nerve activity. This leads to excessive neuronal stimulation, hyperexcitation, and ultimately death of the flea or tick. The active ingredient concentrates in the oils of the skin and hair follicles, providing sustained efficacy.

Dosage: Apply 3-6 ml of solution per of body weight.This corresponds to 7.5 mg -15 mg of Fipronil per kg body weight.
Method: Spray the entire body of the animal. Apply against the lay of the coat to ensure the product penetrates down to the skin. Pay special attention to the base of the tail, neck, and legs.
Frequency: Use monthly for continuous flea and tick control, or as directed by a veterinarian.
