Oral Liquid

Composition

Each ml contains:
Enrofloxacin. 100 mg
Excipients. q.s.

Indications

Treatment of severe respiratory infections (CRD, CCRD).
Control of complicated enteric diseases (Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis).
Effective against infections caused by Mycoplasma species.
Management of systemic bacterial infections in poultry and livestock.
Highly effective against a wide range of antibiotic-resistant strains.

Mechanism of Action

Enrofloxacin, a third-generation fluoroquinolone, acts by inhibiting essential bacterial enzymes known as DNA gyrase (Topoisomerase II) and Topoisomerase IV. These enzymes are crucial for supercoiling, replication, and repair of bacterial DNA. By blocking their action, Enrofloxacin prevents the bacteria from synthesizing or maintaining their genetic material, leading to rapid cell death. This potent, concentration-dependent action results in a broad-spectrum bactericidal effect against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens.

Benefits

Broad-spectrum activity with rapid bactericidal action.
Achieves high therapeutic concentrations at the site of infection.
Excellent oral bioavailability for reliable systemic treatment.
Treats both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial pathogens.
Convenient liquid formulation for easy administration via drinking water.
