Treatment of Babesiosis (Redwater) and associated fever.
Management of Trypanosomiasis (Surra) in susceptible species.
Used for both curative and prophylactic control of blood protozoan diseases.
Rapid relief from high fever, pain, and clinical distress.
Supportive therapy for severe anemia caused by blood parasites.
The product's efficacy is based on dual action. Diminazine Aceturate works by binding to and inhibiting the DNA synthesis and function of the protozoal parasites (like Babesia and Trypanosoma) within the host's bloodstream, leading to parasite death. Simultaneously, Phenazone (Antipyrine), a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the hypothalamus, rapidly lowering the body temperature, thereby providing immediate anti-pyretic relief from the high fever associated with the infection.
Dual action treats the infection while rapidly controlling the fever.
Reduces morbidity and immediate clinical symptoms quickly.
Effective against both major protozoal parasites (Babesia and Trypanosoma).
Minimizes animal discomfort during the acute phase of illness.
Prevents systemic complications associated with prolonged high fever.
