TINIX AQ

Ectoparasite Control
The Fast-Acting Solution for External Parasites
Ectoparasiticide
Aqua
Liquid

Composition

Composition:
Each 1 L contains:
Deltamethrin (Synthetic Pyrethroid). 2.8% w/v
Carrier. Q.S to 1 L

Indications

Prevention and control of common fish ectoparasites (e.g., Argulus, Lernaea).
Treatment of external parasitic protozoa and gill flukes.
Eliminating crustacean parasites harmful to fish and shrimp.
Use during pond preparation or pre-stocking to reduce parasite load.
Managing outbreaks that cause stress, visible lesions, and mortality.

Mechanism of Action

TINIX AQ utilizes Deltamethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid, which works as a fast-acting neurotoxin. It acts on the voltage-gated sodium channels of the ectoparasite's nerve cell membranes, forcing them to remain open. This leads to uncontrolled, repetitive firing of nerve impulses, resulting in severe tremors, paralysis, and rapid death of the parasite. This highly potent mechanism ensures the effective elimination of a wide range of external parasites, even at low concentrations in the water.

Benefits

Highly effective and fast-acting against major aquatic ectoparasites.
Requires very low concentrations for effective parasite elimination.
Contributes to reduced stress and better welfare for cultured stock.
Easy to measure and apply due to the concentrated liquid form.
Helps prevent economic losses associated with parasitic diseases.
