Effective treatment and prevention of infestations of Lice (sucking and chewing).
Control of susceptible Ticks species.
Aids in the management of fly worry and associated production losses.
Suitable for use in livestock as a contact and residual insecticide.

Mechanism of Action

Cypermethrin, a Type II pyrethroid, acts as a potent neurotoxin on the parasite's nervous system. It binds to and modulates the function of the voltage-sensitive sodium channels in the nerve cell membrane. This binding prevents the sodium channels from closing after the nerve impulse has passed. The resultant continuous influx of sodium ions leads to repetitive firing of the nerve fibers, causing hyperexcitation, tremors, and eventually severe paralysis, leading to the rapid "knockdown" and death of the ectoparasite.

Benefits

Ready-to-use pour-on formulation requires no mixing or dilution.
Excellent residual activity provides protection for several weeks.
Rapid knockdown effect due to its potent neurotoxic action.
Easy and safe application along the animal's backline.
