MICODIN achieves synergistic antimicrobial action. Chlorhexidine Gluconate is a cationic bisguanide that binds strongly to anionic components on the bacterial cell wall, increasing cell permeability and causing the leakage of intracellular materials, leading to bacterial death. Miconazole Nitrate inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential sterol in the cell membrane of fungi and yeast. This damages the membrane structure, resulting in cell death. The shampoo base ensures prolonged contact time on the skin for maximum efficacy.

Dual-action formula provides comprehensive coverage against both bacteria and yeast/fungi.
Chlorhexidine has residual activity, remaining effective after rinsing.
Miconazole specifically targets Malassezia pachydermatis and Dermatophytes.
Effective cleansing removes debris, exudates, and scales from the skin surface.
Helps control odor and reduces pruritus (itching) associated with infection.

Medicated Shampoo: Wet coat thoroughly. Apply shampoo and lather well.
Ensure contact time of 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
Frequency: Initially, 2-3 times per week, reducing to once weekly or as directed. Follow veterinary instructions carefully for the treatment duration.
