Each coated tablet contains:
Ceftriaxone. 500 mg

Treatment of severe, systemic bacterial infections in dogs requiring a potent drug.
Management of complicated respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis).
Therapy for serious skin and soft tissue infections (cellulitis, deep pyoderma).
Treatment of complicated or refractory urinary tract infections (UTIs).
Effective against a broad range of susceptible Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

Ceftriaxone is a bactericidal drug that targets the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall. It achieves this by selectively binding to Penicillin-Binding Proteins (PBPs), which are transpeptidases essential for cross-linking peptidoglycan units. By inhibiting this crucial structural step, Ceftriaxone prevents the bacteria from constructing a stable cell wall, leading to rapid osmotic instability and subsequent cell lysis and death. Its chemical structure provides stability against many ?-lactamase enzymes produced by common resistant bacterial strains.
