Vitamin
Livestock
Injection

Composition

Each ml contains:
Calcium Levulinate.76.4 mg
Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3). 5000 IU
Cyanocobalamin. 50 mcg
Excipients. q.s

Indications

Treatment of milk fever (parturient paresis) in cattle and buffaloes.
Management of hypocalcemia and associated muscle tetany.
Supportive therapy for rickets and osteomalacia in young and adult stock.
Used during high-demand periods like peak lactation and late pregnancy.
Aids in recovery from debility and general weakness.

Mechanism of Action

Calcium Levulinate provides easily ionized calcium, rapidly boosting blood calcium levels to treat hypocalcemia. Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) enhances the absorption of calcium from the intestine and regulates its deposition in bones. Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) is a metabolic co-factor essential for energy metabolism and the proper functioning of nerves. This triple action quickly restores physiological calcium balance, prevents muscle tetany, supports bone mineralization, and aids overall nerve and energy function during recovery from metabolic stress.

Benefits

Rapidly elevates serum calcium levels in emergency situations.
Vitamin D3 ensures superior calcium utilization and bone health.
Reduces the incidence and severity of muscle tremors and paralysis.
Supports high milk yield by meeting peak calcium demands.
B12 aids in metabolic restoration and nerve function recovery.
