Injection

Composition

Each ml contains:
Burselin Acetate 4 mcg
Excipients .Q.S

Indications

Treatment of Ovarian Cysts (follicular cysts) in cattle.
Synchronization of estrus and ovulation as part of fixed-time programs ().
Induction of ovulation during the breeding season.
Aids in improving conception rates following insemination.
Used to stimulate luteinization and increase progesterone levels.

Mechanism of Action

Burselin Acetate mimics the action of the hypothalamic hormone GnRH . Upon injection, it immediately stimulates the pituitary gland. This stimulation causes the rapid, pulsatile release of Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and, to a lesser extent, Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH). The surge of is crucial for two key actions: inducing the final maturation and ovulation of dominant follicles, and stimulating the luteinization of follicular cells to form the corpus luteum (CL).

Benefits

Precise hormonal control for reliable synchronization programs.
Highly effective for treating common reproductive disorders like cystic ovaries.
Improves breeding efficiency and optimizes timing for artificial insemination (AI).
Small volume (microgram dose) makes administration convenient.
Enhances LH surge leading to predictable ovulation.

Usage & Recommendation

Cattle (Ovarian Cysts): Typically 4 mcg to 10 mcg (1 ml to 2.5 ml ).
Administered via intramuscular (IM) injection.
Estrus Sync (Ovsynch)
Specific dosages applied at defined stages of the synchronization protocol.
Follow the exact Ovsynch or Co-Synch protocol schedule.
