SOIL FIX HD introduces high concentrations of specialized chemolithotrophic bacteria, Paracoccus and Thiobacillus. These microbes are facultative aerobes capable of utilizing toxic Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) as a substrate. They rapidly oxidize H2S into elemental sulfur or sulfate, which are non-toxic compounds. This process breaks the cycle of H2S production in anaerobic sludge. By eliminating the highly poisonous H2S ?a primary cause of running mortality?the environment is detoxified, foul odors are removed, and animal health is restored, leading to improved feed intake.
