Injection

Composition

Each Bolus contains:
Antimony Potassium Tartrate 2 gm
Ferrous Sulphate 2 gm
Copper Sulphate 50 mg
Cobalt Sulphate 100 mg
Excipients Q.S

Indications

Simple indigestion and off-feed conditions.
Loss of appetite or anorexia.
Depressed or absent rumen motility (atony).
Supportive therapy during ketosis.
To stimulate the rumen flora post-illness.

Mechanism of Action

The mineral salts, particularly Antimony Potassium Tartrate, act as a highly effective rumenotoric by mildly irritating the rumen wall. This irritation reflexively stimulates the vagus nerve, initiating and normalizing depressed rumen contractions and motility (rumination). Cobalt Sulphate is essential for Vitamin B12 synthesis by rumen microbes, enhancing their activity and proliferation. Ferrous and Copper Sulphates serve as key cofactors for metabolic enzymes, supporting overall digestive and systemic health to restore appetite and feed efficiency.

Benefits

Rapidly restores normal rumen function.
Effectively restarts rumination and belching.
Quickly revives depressed appetite.
Enhances the efficiency of rumen microbes.
Supports quick recovery and feed intake.

Usage & Recommendation

Cattle and Buffaloes : 1-2 Boluses twice daily, orally.
Calves and Heifers: 1 Bolus daily, orally.
Administer for 2-3 days or until normal rumination is re-established.
