Composition

Anionic feed supplement for management of hypocalcaemia
[Each 90 gm contains: Ammonium Chloride 45 gm, Magnesium Sulfate (Anhydrous) 15 gm, Calcium Chloride 10 gm, Calcium Phosphate Tribasic 5 gm, Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) 50,000 IU, Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) 500 mcg, Proprietary Base (Carrier, Palatability Enhancer) Q.S to 90 gm]

Indications

Prophylaxis and supportive management of Milk Fever.
During the transition period (2-3 weeks pre-calving).
For cows or buffaloes with a history of hypocalcemia.
To support optimal calving recovery and placental expulsion.
Following stressful events impacting mineral homeostasis.

Mechanism of Action

HYPORiD's anionic salts, primarily Ammonium Chloride and Magnesium Sulfate, work by lowering the dietary Cation-Anion Difference Balance (DCAB). This mild, temporary metabolic acidosis stimulates the parathyroid hormone (PTH) system. PTH becomes highly effective, increasing the sensitivity of peripheral tissues to calcium and enhancing the mobilization of calcium from bone reserves. Additionally, the supplement provides an immediate supply of absorbable calcium and high-dose Vitamin D3 to rapidly elevate and stabilize blood calcium levels, thereby preventing the onset of periparturient hypocalcemia (Milk Fever).

Benefits

Significantly reduces the incidence and severity of clinical Milk Fever.
Improves the animal's ability to mobilize its own calcium reserves.
Enhances uterine muscle tone, aiding timely placental shedding.
Supports immune function and reduces risk of secondary diseases.
Essential for high-yielding animals entering lactation.

Usage & Recommendation

Pre-Calving Dry Cow : 90 gm (1 Sachet) daily, mixed in feed, starting 10-14 days before expected calving date.
