Treatment and control of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria species.
Effective against both intestinal and caecal coccidiosis.
Managing outbreaks in poultry, calves, sheep, and goats.
Use during high-risk or stressful periods.
A crucial tool for maintaining gut health integrity.
Amprolium is a structural analog of thiamine (Vitamin B1). The Eimeria parasites (Coccidia) require thiamine for normal carbohydrate metabolism and growth. Amprolium competes with and blocks the uptake of thiamine by the protozoa, creating a functional thiamine deficiency in the parasite. This starves the coccidial organisms, primarily preventing the development of the first and second-generation schizonts in the host animal's gut lining, thus effectively controlling the disease.
Highly specific and effective against major Eimeria strains.
No adverse effects on growth rate or feed efficiency at recommended dose.
Excellent solubility ensures easy, uniform water administration.
Provides rapid control of clinical signs and mortality.
Helps prevent damage to the intestinal wall.
