Oral Liquid

Composition

CHRCOL Suspension
Each ml contains Activated charcoal 300 mg
CHRCOL Bolus
Each bolus contains Activated charcoal 8 gm

Indications

Recovery from poisoning due to unknown toxins or chemicals.
Management of toxins from contaminated feed (Mycotoxins/Bacterial toxins).
Relief from toxin-induced tympany and diarrhea.
Use as a gastrointestinal decontaminant (periodical detoxification).
To bind and neutralize farm toxins affecting digestive health.

Mechanism of Action

Activated Charcoal possesses an extremely high surface area and porous structure that allows it to effectively bind (adsorb) toxins, poisons, chemicals, and microbial byproducts within the gastrointestinal tract. It works rapidly by preventing the systemic absorption of harmful substances. Once bound, the toxin-charcoal complex is biologically inert and is safely carried through the digestive system until it is eliminated via feces. This process prevents further damage to the liver and other vital organs, aiding in the animal's recovery.

Benefits

Rapidly adsorbs a broad spectrum of ingested toxins and poisons.
Reduces systemic toxic load and liver damage.
Helps control toxin-induced gastrointestinal upset and diarrhea.
Supports quick recovery from chemical or plant poisoning cases.
Flexible dosing with bolus for large animals and liquid for quick drenching.
